Golden Plastics features a new MAAC 3-station rotary pressure forming/twin sheet thermoforming machine.  This machine is extremely efficient at higher volume production runs and is available to run your parts.

Our trimming operations are done with Motion Master 3-Axis and 5-Axis CNC routers.  These routers are high throughput production machines that consistently produce dimensionally accurate parts.

We use Solid Works three dimensional solid modeling CAD program for part and assembly design as well as mold design.  The use of solid models allows for the viewing of three dimensional parts and assemblies which eases the communication of different design ideas and concepts.

SURFCAM is the CAM software we use for in-house mold production and trim path generation.  Solid models can be directly imported into SURFCAM were they are used to create the tool paths for CNC machining.  We also use SURFCAM to produce the CNC trim paths that are used for routing formed parts on our 3 and 5-Axis CNC routers.

We also have a Faro Arm portable coordinate measuring machine that we use for reverse engineering, trim path digitizing and QC inspection.  With our Faro Arm we can digitize parts directly into SURFCAM where the data is graphically edited to create a CNC trim path.  Our Faro Arm is certified accurate to 0.0005” which makes it the ideal tool for Quality Control inspections.
